Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Telemetry
Location: Cleveland, OH
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30)
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical Telemetry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry nursing and hold a current Ohio or Compact state nursing license.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive patient care in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, maintaining accurate patient records.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide optimal care.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Must possess a current Permanent Ohio license or Compact state license at the time of submission.
- One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the nursing specialty.
