Technical Business Analyst

Technical Business AnalystWe are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with 7–10 years of experience supporting mainframe-based business operations, process optimization, and functional requirement delivery. The ideal candidate should possess strong business analysis skills along with a solid understanding of SDLC concepts and Mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, and Mainframe utilities.Role and Responsibilities:Seasoned Business Analyst with 7–10 years of experience supporting mainframe-based business operations, process optimization, and functional requirement delivery in a hybrid work model.Analyze current business processes, identify gaps and modernization opportunities, and translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, process flows, and use cases.Collaborate with business, operations, development, and QA teams to validate solutions, support UAT, perform impact analysis, and ensure alignment with business and non-functional requirements.Support backlog refinement, prioritization, root cause analysis, reporting, documentation, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with internal controls and data protection standards.Required Skills:SDLC ConceptsBusiness AnalysisJCLCOBOLMainframe UtilitiesRequirements GatheringUser StoriesUse CasesProcess Flow DocumentationGap AnalysisImpact AnalysisUAT SupportBacklog RefinementRoot Cause AnalysisDocumentationStakeholder ManagementKnowledge TransferAgile/Scrum MethodologyQualifications:7–10 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Business Analyst.Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies.Experience working with Mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, and Mainframe utilities.Proven experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and functional documentation.Experience supporting UAT, impact analysis, and solution validation.Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in an onsite environment.
