Laboratory Operations Manager

We're partnering with a highly respected hospital in Brooklyn to identify an experienced Laboratory Operations Manager to lead a dynamic clinical laboratory team. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the clinical laboratory Ensure compliance with NYS DOH, CLIA, CAP, and regulatory standards Lead quality assurance, quality control, and proficiency testing initiatives Manage laboratory staff, training, competency assessments, and performance Develop and maintain laboratory policies, procedures, and SOPs Monitor turnaround times, patient safety, and continuous quality improvement Collaborate with physicians, hospital leadership, and laboratory vendors Qualifications: NYS Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) License required NYS Department of Health Certification of Qualification (multiple specialties preferred) Minimum of 5 years of laboratory leadership or supervisory experience Strong knowledge of laboratory operations, regulatory compliance, and quality management Bachelor's degree preferred What You'll Find: Tuition assistance Paid time off Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a growing hospital environment If you're a laboratory leader looking to advance your career with a mission-driven healthcare organization, we'd love to connect. #J-18808-Ljbffr HealthSearch Group
