We're looking for qualified Non-CDL Drivers to deliver nourishment to our communities across Oregon and Southwest Washington.Insurance Requirements: To be eligible for this role, candidates must be at least 23 years of age and possess a Class C (Non-CDL) license, and have maintained an acceptable driving record.At Charlie's Produce, people are at the heart of everything we do. Yearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure.Schedule: Typical dispatch times are between 3 AM and 6 AMThe Role: You will be primarily responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of produce to customers throughout the Portland Metro area.Essential Responsibilities (include, but not limited to): Accurately check invoices as you make deliveries. Load and unload product from trailer with electric pallet jack. Attention to detail in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Perform superior customer service as you interact with customers at each delivery. Assist in issuing credit memos and collecting payment for COD customers. Promote and maintain a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented, and customer-focused attitude with colleagues. Professionally maintained, reliable and safe equipment. Palletized product is delivered to a dock or with a lift gate. All other duties as requested or assigned.Required Skills & Experience: Be 23 yrs. or older due to insurance requirements. 1+ year of driving experience highly preferred. Valid Class C (Non-CDL) license and medical card Interstate qualification, registered. Demonstrated ability to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs. throughout shift. Per DOT rules, applicant should have the ability to read and understand English Satisfactory driving record.All job offers for this position are contingent upon passing a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen (includes THC), and company road test.
