Graduate Assistant, Sports Information

Role Description The Graduate Assistant for Sports Information will provide support in maintaining and promoting athletic programs at Lake Erie College. Key responsibilities will include writing and distributing press releases, maintaining player and team statistics, coordinating media relations, managing social media content, and updating the athletics website. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Painesville, OH. The position also involves assisting with game-day operations, such as coordinating live streaming, creating pre-game materials, and providing support during events. Qualifications Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills for press releases and content creation Proficiency in social media management and basic graphic design tools Familiarity with sports statistics, analytics, and website management platforms Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to meet deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with coaches, athletes, and media outlets Previous experience in sports information, journalism, or a related field is a plus Enthusiasm for collegiate sports and a strong sense of teamwork Enrollment in a graduate program at Lake Erie College is required #J-18808-Ljbffr Lake Erie College
