Step into a dynamic role supporting students’ success as a contract Occupational Therapist in a well-regarded school environment near Mission Viejo, CA. This is an on-site opportunity to cover a leave of absence for a valued team member recovering from surgery, with a caseload based primarily at an elementary school and the chance to make an immediate impact.

You’ll serve students in the San Juan Capistrano area, providing targeted therapy and interventions to promote participation, independence, and access to learning. Start your assignment in September, with the contract running through December. Both full-time and part-time availability are considered, making this a flexible option for experienced professionals looking for their next rewarding challenge.

What You’ll Bring:

• Completed Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active California OT license
• Recent, relevant experience in a school-based setting
• Ability to work with elementary-aged children
• Strong skills in evaluation, intervention planning, and collaboration with educators and families
• Self-motivated, ready to adapt to changes, and prepared to step into a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy, group sessions, and consultations
• Assess students’ motor, sensory, and functional needs
• Document progress and maintain compliance with IEPs and district guidelines
• Coordinate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student outcomes
• Support a diverse caseload and adjust interventions as needs evolve
