On behalf of our client — a growing B2B distributor in the aftermarket automotive parts industry (supplying products such as brakes, filters, and related replacement parts to dealerships) — we are seeking a driven, confident Inside Sales Representative who thrives in a high-activity sales environment and enjoys building long-term business relationships.
This is a purely inside sales role that combines outbound prospecting with account retention. It's built for someone who enjoys proactive selling and structured follow-up. Success looks like high outbound call activity (typically 80–100 calls per day), strong objection handling, disciplined follow-up, and the ability to both retain and grow dealership accounts. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will generate new business through outbound cold calling while managing and growing an existing book of dealership accounts. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Outbound prospecting
- Place 80–100 outbound cold calls per day to dealerships and prospective B2B accounts
- Build rapport quickly with managers and decision-makers
- Identify opportunities and close new business
- Account management and retention
- Maintain regular contact with existing accounts
- Strengthen relationships and grow account revenue
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for reorders and new needs
- Pipeline and performance
- Track sales activity and opportunities within company systems
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets
- Drive revenue through relationship management and consistent pipeline activity
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to communicate professionally in a B2B sales environment
- Comfort with high-volume, phone-based sales activity (80–100 calls per day)
- Confident, resilient, and self-motivated approach with natural rapport-building skills
- Organized and process-driven, with disciplined follow-up habits
- Motivated by performance-based compensation
- Prior sales or inside sales experience (helpful but not required)
- Experience selling in a B2B or distribution setting
- Familiarity with the automotive, parts, or aftermarket industry
- Experience using a CRM or sales-tracking system
