Job Description

Job Summary:
Providing specialized behavioral health nursing care, the RN will deliver comprehensive psychiatric support to patients across various age groups, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The role involves collaborative treatment delivery within a fast-paced, clinical environment, ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate expertise in the nursing process applicable to diverse patient age groups and behavioral health needs.
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage care effectively and optimize resources.
• Maintain and develop clinical competencies through continuous professional growth.
• Practice within a clinical setting using theoretical knowledge and practical skills, adapting to evolving patient needs.
• Work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet patient care demands.

Qualifications:

• Possess an active RN license in Idaho.
• Hold current BLS, CPI, and MAB certifications.
• At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience, with behavioral health or psychiatric background preferred.
• Demonstrate strong judgment, patience, and professionalism in high-pressure environments.
• Possess computer proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and electronic medical records.
• Exhibit excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and mathematical skills.
