Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

Sunbury, OH

$26 - $34 hourly based on experience

Full-time Monday-Friday

Job description

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plastic extrusion lines. Re-programming machines and robots. Experience with Fanuc Robots is a plus.
• Visually inspect, test, diagnose, and troubleshoot faulty equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all plant equipment. Install new or repaired parts to keep machines running at a high standard.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and schematic prints (electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical) to perform required maintenance and service.
• Work effectively and efficiently with production and senior leadership to solve problems.
• Working as a team player to reach consistent output goals
• Maintaining a safe workspace and commitment to following Hitachi Astemo's safety mission and standards.

Our ideal candidate is:

1. A driven team-player who is eager to learn.
2. Two years of technical school training in Industrial Maintenance, Machine Repair, Automated Systems, or other similar skilled trades is desired, along with 2 or more years of verifiable work experience in related fields.
3. Experience with PLCs, drives, and industrial controls is desired.
4. Work schedule is 3rd shift working one weekend per month.
5. First month of training will be on 1st shift
6. Has a career-oriented mindset aiming to grow personally and professionally
7. A High school graduate with strong computer and math skills
8. A sound decision-maker and problem-solver who is ready to go above and beyond
9. A strong understanding of our safety mission and its importance

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.65 - $30.53 per hour
