Impact & ESG Internship, Buyout

We are looking for an ambitious intern to join our Impact & ESG team in Munich, that is eager to make a positive contribution to some of the most pressing challenges of our time, while delivering returns to investors. The internship will have a duration period of 3-6 months, with next possible start in September 2026. Trill Impact is an established Impact House with around EUR 1.4 billion in assets under management. Our investment strategies span Buyout, Ventures and Microfinance, supported by experienced professionals based in Europe and North America. Within Buyout, we support companies that provide leading solutions to pressing global challenges and create positive environmental or social outcomes. We focus on industries and companies within three impact themes: Sustainable Planet, Healthy People and Resilient Society. Through these investment themes, we are on a mission to deliver Real Returns and Lasting Impact by building impact leaders – both businesses and people. We are now looking for full-time interns for a period of at least 3 months (ideally 6 months) for our office in Munich. You will be an integral part of Trill Impact’s impact & ESG team and be involved in the investment processes within Buyout, including investment opportunity identification, impact & ESG screening and due diligence, and other relevant topics. You will also work with our existing portfolio companies. As an intern, you will be responsible for the following tasks: Conducting impact & ESG analysis of potential acquisition targets Conducting industry and company impact & ESG analysis and benchmarking Sub-sector analyses to identify new investment areas within our investment themes Collaborating with impact & ESG development in Trill Impact's existing portfolio companies Applications should be sent to Alice Stappen , Impact Manager at Trill Impact. Experience and qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have the following: Enrolled in a top-tier university program with excellent academic record, preferably with a completed Bachelor’s degree Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Previous work experience in management or sustainability consulting The motivation to build businesses that make a positive contribution to the environment and society Eager to learn and enjoy working in an open and driven environment and contributing to an day-to-day office culture in Munich Proficiency in the German language at a native level Established in 2019, Trill Impact is an established Impact House with around EUR 1.3 billion in assets under management.
