MRI Tech JobShift: It would be weekend coverage 16 hours a day from 6a-11p for Saturday and Sunday. The other 8 hours could be a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday evening shift from 2:30-11p. Daily Caseload per tech: Average 20-25 patients per 24hrs. Department has one Phillips scanner. Traveler would never work alone and case load would be by department, not per tech. Experience Req: 2 years experience as registered MRI tech required Certifications Required: BCLS; ARRT (MR) First-timers accepted: Yes, if they are MRI registered with 2 years' experience Weekend REQ: Yes, Sat & Sun No Call Requirement No Floating Radius Rule: 100 mile radius rule - 75-99mi. Considered and sent for facility approval on case-by-case basis.
