Staff Accountant

Position JSG is hiring a Staff Accountant in Orange, CA! This role is 100% onsite. Pay rate: $25-$33 Responsibilities The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end close. Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, Daily Shipment Log, collections, payment processing, deposits, and downloading reports. Maintain accurate and organized AR files and records. Enter all vendor bills and process approved material, labor, and other invoices for payment. Review invoices for proper documentation and approval prior to payment. Prepare and distribute checks, obtain required signatures, and match bills to checks. Monitor vendor accounts and regularly request and review vendor statements to ensure accounts are current. Maintain accurate and organized AP files and records. Assist with general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures. Perform other accounting duties and projects as assigned. Previous accounts payable and accounts receivable experience preferred. Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Strong communication and time-management skills.
