In this role you will be responsible for the preparation and accuracy of general ledger accounts, and assistance as needed with regulatory reporting, tax filings, and financial statements audits in compliance with US GAAP and local statutory standards as required.The strongly motivated candidate will demonstrate a high level of enthusiasm to understand the business' accounting systems, processes and operations and the subsequent accounting entries.Strong interpersonal skills are also a must as this position will require liaison with cross-functional and international accounting teams.Key Responsibilities:Prepare journal entries for the month end and year end close processOwnership and reconciliation of various intercompany relationshipsPrepare balance sheet account reconciliations for monthly complianceAnalyze variances and trends within certain accounts, cost centers, and entitiesSupport AP, Financial Reporting, Tax, and Regulatory colleagues with requestsAssist with external audit requestsWork cross-functionally with colleagues in Treasury, Finance, Internal Audit, and BusinessDesign and documentation of proceduresIdentify and implement process improvementsWork on adhoc projects as requiredQualifications:Fluent in EnglishBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required1+ years of financial accounting experience preferredStrong familiarity with US GAAPProven experience with large ERP and/or Settlement systems, Oracle Cloud / a plusInternational accounting experience preferredStrong analytical skills, organizational, and problem solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSolid systems skills including advanced Excel and Word.Experience working in a complex multi-currency accounting environment / a plusCapacity to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with AI-driven tools, automation, or emerging technologies in finance / a plusAbout ConveraConvera is the largest non-bank B2B cross-border payments company in the world.
