Manufacturing Team LeadLocation: Ruther Glen, VA Schedule: I have a 1st Shift and 2nd Shift available1st Shift Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm2nd Shift Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–1:00 AM (4x10s) + potential overtimePay: $29/hour Type: Direct HireRole SummaryHands-on production lead role supporting daily manufacturing/assembly operations. You'll coordinate workload and priorities, help remove roadblocks on the floor, ensure quality and safety expectations are met, and coach/mentor assemblers—while still working alongside the team.What You'll DoLead day-to-day execution for a team of assemblers (tasking, pacing, priorities, workflow)Provide hands-on support and technical guidance during mechanical, electrical, and system assemblyMonitor quality, confirm work meets standards, and help address defects/rework needsTroubleshoot routine to moderately complex assembly issues and escalate when neededCommunicate schedule updates, material needs, and risks to production leadershipTrain, coach, and mentor newer team members on process, tools, safety, and expectationsEnforce safe work practices/PPE and stop work when unsafe conditions existMaintain organization/5S mindset: documentation, materials readiness, tools/equipment availabilityWhat We're Looking For (Required)High school diploma plus 4+ years of assembly/manufacturing experience (or closely related)Prior manufacturing leadership experience (leading a small team, directing work, on-the-job coaching)Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and engineering documentationStrong communication skills (clear direction, coordination, escalation when appropriate)Work Environment / Physical RequirementsRegularly lift/carry/move up to 50 lbsFrequent standing/walking; climbing, squatting, kneeling, crawling, pushing/pulling, reaching overheadAbility to relocate a 12-foot stepladder without assistanceAbility to work at heights up to 60 feet (ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks)Good vision (corrected OK), color vision, and ability to communicate in EnglishAbility to recognize when something is wrong or likely to go wrong (quality/safety awareness)System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
