Central Intake CoordinatorCareCore Health is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Central Intake Coordinator to support the referral and admissions process across multiple skilled nursing facilities in the Cincinnati Region.This role is an important part of our centralized intake team and works closely with Business Development, Marketing, and facility leadership to ensure referrals move efficiently from initial review through admission.ResponsibilitiesManage and process new referrals in GatewAI for multiple CareCore facilitiesVerify insurance eligibility, coverage, network status, and authorization requirementsInitiate, track, and follow insurance authorizations through completionMonitor referrals for updates, documentation, and potential barriers to admissionEnsure required admission documentation, including HENS/PASRR and Medicaid Pending requirements is completedPrepare and maintain accurate admission documentation in PointClickCare (PCC)Communicate insurance findings, missing information, and admission barriers to Marketing and facility teamsPrepare daily admission reports and new admission communicationsCross-train across CareCore facilities and provide team coverage as neededParticipate in an assigned holiday coverage rotationQualificationsStrong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to manage multiple facilities, referrals, and competing prioritiesExcellent attention to detail and documentation accuracyProfessional written and verbal communication skillsComfortable learning and working within referral, insurance, authorization, and electronic medical record systemsKnowledge of healthcare insurance verification and authorization processes, or the ability to learn quicklyAbility to work independently while collaborating with a centralized teamStrong follow-through and ability to recognize and escalate barriers appropriatelyPreferred ExperienceExperience in skilled nursing, post-acute care, admissions, intake, healthcare business development support, insurance verification, authorization, or a related healthcare settingExperience working with Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and commercial insuranceExperience with PointClickCare (PCC) and/or electronic referral management systems is strongly preferredThis is a great opportunity for someone who is highly organized, enjoys working behind the scenes to keep admissions moving, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
