Environmental Software Outside Sales Representative

Outside Sales Representative Responsibilities (what you do):

• Present, promote, and sell EQuIS software/services to prospective accounts.
• Build pipeline through a combination of inbound leads and outbound prospecting into assigned verticals (e.g., Industry, Government, Consulting).
• Apply consultative selling techniques to advance opportunities through the pipeline.
• Design and deliver high-quality presentations and product demos to multi-stakeholder, cross-functional buying committees over 6 to 18-month sales cycle.
• Leverage EarthSoft’s Business Partner network to develop new opportunities and drive revenue growth for current and prospective accounts.
• Coordinate the development and delivery of proposals in response to RFPs.
• Keep informed of product line, competition and industry trends.
• Track sales activities in the CRM.
• Forecasting and pipeline management.
• Attend conferences as requested.
• Travel as needed.
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.

Outside Sales Representative Requirements (what you need/have):

• Proven work experience as a sales representative; experience with environmental data management software sales preferred
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Strong software application aptitude
• Ability to work within complex network configurations
• Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
• Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
• Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
• Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
• Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
• BS/BA degree or equivalent
