Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Technical & Solution Architect – SAP BI to design, develop, implement, and govern enterprise-level reporting, data warehousing, and analytics solutions across SAP and non-SAP environments.
This role requires a highly experienced, hands-on SAP BI professional who can combine solution architecture expertise with deep technical knowledge of SAP BW, SAP HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, BusinessObjects, and enterprise reporting technologies. The ideal candidate will be comfortable translating complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions, partnering with senior technical stakeholders, and providing end-to-end support for enterprise analytics environments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement end-to-end data warehousing, reporting, and analytics solutions across SAP and non-SAP platforms.
• Architect solutions utilizing SAP BW, SAP HANA XSA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ), SAP Fiori, CDS Views, Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy, and legacy Teradata environments.
• Define technical architecture, integration patterns, data flows, reporting strategies, and implementation roadmaps.
• Design complex data models, extraction processes, transformations, and data-loading solutions.
• Develop and maintain SAP HANA calculation views, table functions, stored procedures, and SQLScript-based solutions.
• Design and implement SAP and non-SAP data integration utilizing SDI/SLT and other appropriate integration technologies.
• Develop complex backend data models as well as frontend reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions.
• Build reporting solutions using SAC, BOBJ/Web Intelligence, Analysis for Office (AFO), SAP Fiori, Power BI, and Tableau.
• Lead technical and business workshops to gather, analyze, and translate reporting and analytics requirements into technical specifications and solution designs.
• Present technical solutions and recommendations to business and technical stakeholders.
• Partner with business stakeholders, functional teams, developers, infrastructure teams, enterprise architects, Senior Technical Managers/Architects, and Technical Solution Design Directors.
• Serve as a technical and functional SME for SAP analytics, business intelligence, and reporting solutions.
• Analyze data flows, SQL queries, HANA models, and network traffic to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Optimize data models, integration processes, and reporting solutions for performance, scalability, and sustainability.
• Provide end-to-end production support, including troubleshooting critical issues and performing root-cause analysis.
• Monitor and troubleshoot scheduled data-processing and reporting jobs utilizing Control-M.
• Manage and track incidents and defects utilizing ServiceNow.
• Define technical blueprints, architecture standards, development guidelines, and implementation approaches.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, performance, and data governance standards.
• Review technical designs and provide architectural guidance to development teams.

Required Qualifications:
• 12+ years of hands-on experience with SAP BI, SAP HANA, enterprise data warehousing, analytics, and related technologies.
• Extensive hands-on experience with SAP BW and SAP HANA development.
• Strong experience with SAP HANA XSA data modeling, including calculation views, complex table functions, stored procedures, and SQLScript.
• Experience designing and delivering end-to-end solutions integrating both SAP and non-SAP data sources.
• Strong experience with complex backend data modeling and frontend reporting/dashboard development.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects, including Web Intelligence.
• Experience with SAP Analysis for Office (AFO).
• Experience with SAP Fiori Tiles and CDS-based reporting models.
• Experience with Power BI and Tableau.
• Experience implementing data integration solutions using SDI/SLT.
• Experience monitoring and scheduling jobs utilizing Control-M.
• Experience utilizing ServiceNow for incident and defect tracking.
• Strong experience providing end-to-end production support and resolving complex technical issues.
• Ability to analyze business requirements in real time and recommend appropriate technical solutions during stakeholder meetings and workshops.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to operate as a technical and functional SME.

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise SAP analytics and reporting environments.
• Cross-functional knowledge spanning supply chain, finance, procurement, manufacturing, and commercial business processes.
• Experience working closely with senior technical managers, architects, and solution design leaders on enterprise architecture and technical initiatives.
