Role Description The Assistant Project Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Villa Park, IL. This role supports the Project Manager in coordinating multifamily construction and renovation projects from planning through completion. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include tracking schedules, assisting with budgeting and cost control, coordinating material deliveries, and supporting communication among architects, contractors, vendors, and clients. The Assistant Project Manager helps prepare and maintain project documentation, monitors progress against milestones, and follows up on action items to keep projects on track. This position also assists with site visits, basic inspections, and problem‑solving related to logistics, expediting, and project execution. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Expediting and Expeditor responsibilities to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Candidates should possess Project Management skills to support planning, scheduling, documentation, and coordination of construction activities. Candidates should possess Inspection‑related skills to assist with basic site checks, quality standards, and compliance with project specifications. Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills to help oversee material flow, vendor coordination, and jobsite resource planning. Relevant qualifications include strong organizational and time‑management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external partners. Proficiency with project management software and standard office applications; familiarity with construction documents and drawings is beneficial.
