Assistant Project Manager

A growing general contractor in the Chicago area is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support industrial and commercial construction projects.

This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional looking to grow within a collaborative company that values mentorship and internal advancement.

Responsibilities

Support Project Managers with daily project coordination
Assist with RFIs, submittals, meeting notes, and project documentation
Coordinate subcontractor communication and scheduling updates
Track project costs and assist with change orders
Help ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
Support project closeout and administrative tasks

Qualifications

2+ years of construction experience preferred
Commercial or industrial construction experience is a plus
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
