Details Med/Surg Tele unit in a hospital setting Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population Day/Night rotating 12-hour shifts (7pm-7:30am / 7am-7:30pm) Shifts may be adjusted to meet operational needs, though facility will attempt to honor shift preference 20-week assignment with 13-week options also considered for winter coverage Required to work at least every other holiday Requirements Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross) 18 months of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele, preferably within one location 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience required, travel experience accepted One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required, medical/religious exemptions only Additional Information Provide direct patient care to medical/surgical and telemetry patients ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with a passing score required (2 attempts maximum) Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date Assignments may be extended up to 18 consecutive months, followed by a required break period Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement on a temporary basis American Traveler Job ID P-750443.
