Details Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population 20-week assignment providing winter coverage, with 13-week assignments also considered Day/Night rotating shift schedule (3x12 hours), with shifts potentially variable to meet hospital operational needs Required to work at least every other holiday Requirements Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) in hand Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross) 18 months of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele required 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience required (travel experience accepted) One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required (co-worker references not accepted) COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only) Additional Information ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with a passing score required (maximum two attempts) PBDS assessment is waived for this position Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date Background check hits are reviewed by the facility, but open cases will not be accepted No hits on professional license will be accepted American Traveler Job ID P-748078.
