LOCAL CDL DRIVER

As a CDL Driver , you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight! Hourly Pay $29.00/hr Shift(s) Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Location Lockport, IL 60441 Responsibilities Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook Deliver and pick up trailers within 150 miles per shift Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van Qualifications 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years Must be at least 23 years of age or older Must possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician No record of being disqualified to drive Successful completion of a DOT road test PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently Physical Demands / Work Environment Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate Must be able to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and sit in a vehicle cab for entire shifts of varying lengths in time The noise level in the work environment depends on location Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes) Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision Benefits Competitive Pay, Holiday Pay, and Daily Pay – Access to your earned wages before payday!
