Schouest, Bamdas, Soshea & BenMaier is currently looking for a detail-oriented data entry clerk in Houston to join our War Hazards department. This position is essential for processing and keeping track of war-related injury claims under the War Hazards Compensation Act .
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date records.
- Organize and manage databases to ensure information is easily accessible.
- Handling of high volume claims and invoices.
- Reviewing payment history.
- Transcribe documents and data from various sources into digital formats.
- Ensure compliance with firm policies regarding data handling and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Must be open to working fully in office, Mon-Fri, from our office in downtown Houston.
- Excel proficiency is required.
- Proven experience in data entry or administrative roles is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with databases and office software applications.
- Basic math skills for handling numerical data accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to handle a high volume of documents.
