About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Operations to spearhead the development and execution of a robust operational strategy that is in line with the company's growth objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the end-to-end supply chain, optimizing multi-site fulfillment networks, and managing key partnerships to enhance delivery, customer experience, and profitability. This role demands a strategic, data-driven leader with a proven track record in scaling supply chain, warehousing, logistics, and inventory operations, particularly within the DTC e-commerce, wine, beverage, or related consumer business sectors. The VP of Operations will also be tasked with establishing KPIs, driving performance, and cost reductions, as well as ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Applicants for the VP of Operations position at the company should have a minimum of 8 years' progressive operations leadership experience, with a strong preference for those with a background in DTC e-commerce, wine, beverage, or complex fulfillment. The role requires a leader with a demonstrated ability to reduce costs while enhancing service and customer experience, and experience with a range of operational and financial technologies. Strong analytical and financial acumen, excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills are essential. While a Bachelor's degree is preferred, it is not a mandatory requirement. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing operating budgets, developing KPIs, and have a deep understanding of the wine industry, particularly in terms of regulatory and compliance knowledge.
