Registered Nurse (RN) – Full-Time NightsLocation: ICE Detention Health Services Facility – Florence, ArizonaProvide high-quality nursing care in a secure federal healthcare setting serving individuals detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. This role offers a collaborative environment supporting ambulatory, emergency, mental health, and infirmary care.Schedule & Work HoursFull-Time Night ShiftConsistent night schedule (8, 10, or 12-hour shifts based on facility needs)OverviewThe Registered Nurse (RN) delivers comprehensive patient care, including intake assessments, sick call evaluations, emergency response, and supervision of clinical staff. This role is critical in ensuring safe, effective, and timely care within a multidisciplinary team.Duties / Key ResponsibilitiesPerform intake screening and physical examinations to identify conditions requiring referral or treatmentConduct sick call and manage common acute conditions using established nursing guidelinesComplete nursing rounds for patients in the infirmary and segregated housing unitsProvide direct patient care and monitor patient statusAdminister medications via oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular, intravenous, topical, ophthalmic, and other approved routesPerform treatments such as wound care, vital signs, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and other ordered proceduresCollect laboratory specimens, perform point-of-care testing, and act on lab results appropriatelyRespond to medical emergencies, stabilize patients, and coordinate transfer to higher levels of careRefer patients to physicians, NP/PAs, behavioral health providers, and dental providers as neededSupervise Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses (LPNs/LVNs) and unlicensed assistive personnelAssist providers by gathering subjective and objective patient dataParticipate in involuntary or court-ordered care when requiredQualificationsCurrent, full, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in any U.S. state (Compact license preferred)Minimum of 1 year RN experience in a hospital, clinic, or residential settingExperience in a correctional, detention, or residential healthcare setting preferredGraduate of an accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE)Foreign graduates must possess a current, active, and unrestricted RN registrationCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly rate (Full-Time)$3 Night differential$3 weekend differentialPaid Time Off (PTO)Paid sick leave11 paid Federal holidaysHourly Health & Welfare (H&W) benefitWhy Join MDPerm?Stable, long-term federal contract opportunityConsistent full-time night scheduleWork in a mission-driven, team-oriented environmentStreamlined credentialing and onboarding supportMDPerm LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
