Job DescriptionTitle: Events & Marketing Coordinator (Entry-Level) Location: Greer, South Carolina (In-Office & Travel Required) Classification: Hourly, Non-Exempt Position SummaryThe Events & Marketing Coordinator is an entry-level role responsible for supporting the planning, preparation, and execution of touring pop-up salon events for a lifestyle marketing and distribution company specializing in hair extensions and toppers.This role combines event coordination, marketing support, and hands-on operational logistics across both office and warehouse environments. The Coordinator works closely with internal teams, stylists, and contractors to ensure each event is organized, fully equipped, and executed to brand standards.This position is ideal for someone early in their career who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to develop skills in event operations, marketing execution, and logistics management in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Planning & Coordination Support coordination and logistics planning for pop-up salon events across multiple locations Assist with event timelines, preparation checklists, and scheduling Coordinate required materials, supplies, and equipment for each event Communicate event details with stylists, contractors, and internal team membersEvent Setup & Execution Assist with packing, staging, and organizing event materials in the warehouse Travel to events to support onsite setup, execution, and breakdown Ensure event presentation aligns with brand standards and customer experience expectations Provide hands-on support during events, including troubleshooting and coordinationWarehouse & Logistics Support Assist with inventory management for event materials, marketing collateral, and product supplies Organize and maintain stock levels for event-related items Support packing, shipping, receiving, and staging of materials Maintain organization and cleanliness of event storage areas Marketing & Brand Support Assist in preparing marketing materials, signage, and event displays Support execution of marketing campaigns tied to events and promotions Coordinate logistics for brand activations, content capture, or promotional initiatives as needed Ensure consistency in brand presentation across all event touchpoints Administrative Support Maintain organized records related to event schedules, inventory, and logistics Support internal communication and calendar coordination related to events Assist with vendor coordination and supply ordering Perform general administrative tasks to support the events and marketing functions Performance Metrics (KPIs)Quarterly bonus eligibility is based on a combination of company and individual performance metrics, including: Event readiness and execution quality Accuracy and organization of inventory and logistics Timeliness and reliability in completing assigned responsibilities Team collaboration and contribution to event success Compensation Structure Hourly Rate: $16.00 $20.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications) Target Hiring Range: $17.00 $18.50 per hour Tip Sharing Opportunities QualificationsRequired High school diploma or equivalent Bachelors degree in marketing or related field preferred 02 years of experience in events, marketing, retail, hospitality, or administrative support Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities Willingness to work in both office and warehouse environments Ability to lift and move event materials as needed Willingness to travel for events, including occasional evenings and weekendsPreferred Interest in marketing, events, or brand experience roles Experience in beauty, fashion, or lifestyle industries Familiarity with inventory, logistics, or event coordination Strong communication and interpersonal skills Core Competencies Highly organized with strong attention to detail Proactive and dependable with a strong work ethic Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment Solutions-oriented with a willingness to learn Work Environment Combination of office, warehouse, and offsite event environments Hands-on, fast-paced, and team-oriented setting Regular lifting, packing, and movement of materials Travel required to support events
