Essential functions (job duties): The Department of Biochemistry, Microbiology & Immunology atWayne State University School of Medicine is searching for an outstanding virologist for a tenure-track Assistant Professorposition. All qualified candidates in the field of virology will beconsidered, the search is targeting researchers studyingfundamental and applied problems in virology associated with humandisease. Candidates will be expected to establish a high-impact,extramurally funded research program and to participate in graduateand medical virology teaching.
