CT Technologist

Role Overview: The CT Technologist applies expertise to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. They are a vital part of a collaborative care team, performing CT procedures in accordance with department guidelines. Key Responsibilities Operate imaging equipment independently, capturing diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA) Obtain patient history, verify orders, and ensure patient safety and comfort using clear communication protocols like AIDET Administer contrast agents, perform venipuncture, and position patients correctly Review images for diagnostic quality, re-image if necessary, and document accurately in RIS/PACS systems Maintain equipment hygiene, report issues promptly, and support infection control Monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and assist with life-support equipment Support departmental workflow, ensure regulatory compliance, and keep work areas organized and stocked Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Minimum 1 year of radiology experience Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS (American Heart Association) Additional Details: The role offers competitive pay, shift differential incentives, and benefits including PTO, mental health support, wellness resources, and educational opportunities through a fully funded career development program.
