Accounting Analyst
Addition Management
Position: Accounting Analyst Location: Midtown, NYC (Hybrid) Salary: 75k - 85k Fashion Consumer Product company based in NYC seeks an Accounting Analyst to join their Team! Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Review and prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Prepare reports and analyses related to revenue, receivables, and cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting standards.
- Assist with external audits by preparing supporting schedules and documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting and accounts receivable processes.
- Support special projects and ad hoc financial analyses as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2-5 years of accounting and financial analysis experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
- Experience with account reconciliations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP/accounting systems.
- Experience using AI tools.
