Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that incorporate an understanding of co-occurring medical conditions, enabling personalized care strategies.
• Design and implement treatment plans that uniquely address both psychiatric concerns and underlying medical issues, ensuring holistic management of each patient’s health.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, applying evidence-based therapeutic techniques to foster patient progress and empowerment.
• Work closely with medical providers, maintaining open lines of communication to ensure coordinated care and optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support, equipping patients with the tools and resources they need during mental health emergencies.
• Educate patients about the interconnectedness of mental health and physical well-being, empowering them to take an active role in their treatment journey.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance at all times.
• Engage in regular teamwork activities, including case discussions and strategic care planning, to enhance service delivery and improve patient outcomes.
• Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in integrated care to continuously improve therapeutic techniques and foster professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role involves working with a varied patient population, including individuals facing both mental health challenges and co-occurring medical conditions. We prioritize a collaborative care model, recognizing that effective treatment requires addressing both mental and physical aspects of health. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, and your expertise will help them navigate their unique challenges.

Qualifications

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist in Washington State.
• Strong foundation in working with individuals who have co-occurring medical conditions and mental health challenges.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical practice guidelines.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and telehealth technology.
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment, actively contributing to interdisciplinary discussions.

Preferred Experience

Experience in implementing evidence-based therapy approaches and working with an interdisciplinary team is preferred. Familiarity with chronic illness management and integrated care models will greatly enhance your ability to contribute to our mission.

Compensation and Benefits
