Basic Job Functions: Participate in the monthly review of project budgets, costs, and profitability Maintain the month-end close calendar and ensure profit and cash flow forecasts are prepared accurately and on schedule Prepare monthly bank and balance sheet account reconciliations Conduct monthly variance analysis, including cost variances, project variances, and prepare supporting financial analysis for leadership Prepare project profitability reports Maintain project register and prepare month-end postings, allocations, and accruals Ensure accurate reporting of financial information and maintain project-related ledger accounts Track and report fixed asset acquisitions and disposals Identify and assist in resolving project-related accounting issues Continually improve processing activities and reporting to provide operations with the most accurate and timely information possible Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
