Work Environment This remote position offers you the flexibility to work from home while also staying connected to our supportive team. We prioritize work-life balance, with business hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to gauge the severity and extent of mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized tools and clinical interviews. Work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique situations and ambitions, ensuring an inclusive approach to goal-setting. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to aid clients in managing their conditions. Educate clients and their families on effective coping strategies, treatment options, and self-care techniques to foster understanding and support. Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback, ensuring that clients remain engaged in their care. Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to coordinate integrated care, facilitating medication management and therapy as needed. Stay current with the latest research and methodologies in the treatment of mood disorders to continually enhance client outcomes. Maintain precise and confidential documentation of all clinical interactions in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, adhering to HIPAA standards. Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations to share insights, strategies, and best practices to refine our therapeutic approaches. Advocate for clients’ mental health needs and work toward breaking down the stigma associated with mood disorders in the community. Patient Population / Client Focus Your role will primarily focus on adult clients grappling with mood-related challenges, creating a platform for transformation and healing. Our diverse patient population requires an understanding of various cultural perspectives and therapeutic needs. You will be responsible for fostering a therapeutic alliance that encourages open dialogue and trust. Qualifications Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required. Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT within New York State. Demonstrated expertise in applying evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT. Knowledge of psychopharmacology to facilitate effective collaboration with medical professionals. Documented success in achieving positive client outcomes in the management of mood disorders. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills necessary to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds. Preferred Experience Experience working in an outpatient setting focused on mood disorders and related conditions. Familiarity with telehealth practices for delivering therapy in a remote context. Active participation in ongoing professional development and training related to mood disorders. Compensation and Benefits Annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
