Job OverviewA law firm seeks a Public Finance Mid‑Senior Level Associate to join their Indianapolis, IN office. This role involves representing clients in bond transactions and advising on tax‑exempt financing and securities law compliance. The position offers a mix of in‑office and remote work, depending on case and workload demands. Duties Represent clients in bond transactions, including drafting and negotiating bond documents. Advise clients on tax‑exempt financing and securities law compliance. Collaborate with other attorneys to provide exceptional client service. Advise public and private sector entities on taxable and tax‑exempt financings and economic development matters. Requirements Minimum seven (7) years of experience in public finance. Experience in bond transactions, tax‑exempt financing, and securities law. Admission to the Indiana bar or willingness to obtain Indiana license. Education J.D. from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the Indiana bar or willingness to obtain Indiana license. Skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Analytical skills with the ability to offer unique perspectives on complex issues. Sound judgment and ability to meet deadlines. Attention to detail.
