If you're a COTA, supervision by an experienced OT is available, ensuring you have the support you need to succeed.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with eligibility to practice in the state
• Experience providing school-based OT services, ideally with K-5 populations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Bilingual in Spanish is highly desirable, but not mandatory
• Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs
• Comfort working exclusively on-site 2-3 days per week

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted OT services to K-8 students, focusing on enhancing participation and independence in the school environment
• Assess student needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress
• Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to integrate OT strategies into classroom routines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary problem-solving
• Maintain detailed, compliant records and advocate for best-practice supports
