School Psychologist Starting Date: Aug 31, 2026 Position Type: Full-time Pay Range: $62,261 - $109,727.25 Job Categories: Student Services > Psychologist Job Description Reports to: Administrator of Special Education. Full‑time School Psychologist to complete psycho‑educational evaluations for team meetings. Qualifications Licensed School Psychologist in Massachusetts Master’s Degree in School Psychology Experience with educational and psychological testing for children At least 5 years of relevant experience preferred Bachelor’s degree preferred Citizenship, residency or work visa required Duties Conduct initial and three‑year reevaluations Administer necessary psychological and achievement testing of students Administer functional behavioral assessments for students Complete assigned evaluations within mandated timelines Participate in IEP process by providing results to the team chair and delivering reports prior to meetings Present and interpret evaluation results in IEP team meetings and make recommendations Assist IEP team in understanding the impact of disability on learning Provide information regarding accommodations and/or modifications Follow district special education procedures and protocols Attend and participate in special education department activities Attend district‑wide professional development activities as directed by the special education administrator Participate in department and building meetings Provide crisis/acute short‑term counseling/intervention for students in special circumstances upon request of the principal or special education director or coordinator Consult general and special educators, related service providers, and parents regarding student support, management, and other needs Communicate with special education department, building principals, parents, and outside agencies regarding assessments Perform other duties as assigned by the director of special education or designee #J-18808-Ljbffr Young World Physical Education
