As a key member of the special education team, you will collaborate closely with staff and families to design, implement, and coordinate individualized educational programs. Key Qualifications:

• Current ESE (Exceptional Student Education) endorsement required
• Experience working with upper elementary school students, preferably with a focus on 4th and 5th grades
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with prior experience in a coordinator or lead role highly valued
• Thorough knowledge of IEP development, compliance, and implementation
• Ability to establish relationships with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve as a coordinator for 4th and 5th grade caseloads, overseeing the development and execution of IEPs
• Monitor student progress, adjust teaching strategies, and ensure legal compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and support staff to meet students’ diverse needs
• Provide direct instruction and academic support as needed
• Engage families in the educational process, ensuring clear and consistent communication
