We are seeking multiple Licensed Journeyman Electricians to join a large-scale data center construction project in Cedar Rapids, IA. This is a long-term opportunity offering $64/hour , consistent overtime, and a $178/day per diem paid 7 days per week .

Compensation & Benefits

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Install, bend, and run EMT and rigid conduit

• Pull wire and complete electrical terminations

• Install switchgear, panels, lighting systems, and cable

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings

• Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform repairs as needed

• Work with low- and medium-voltage electrical systems

• Support large-scale commercial and industrial construction activities

• Ensure all work complies with NEC codes, project specifications, and safety regulations

• Collaborate effectively with supervisors, project managers, and fellow tradespeople

• Maintain accurate documentation of installations and system updates

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical construction

• Strong conduit bending experience (EMT and rigid conduit)

• Experience with panel installations and electrical terminations

• Proficiency in lighting and electrical system installation

• Ability to read and interpret electrical prints and schematics

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Experience working on large-scale construction projects

• Data center experience preferred but not required

License Requirements

A valid Journeyman Electrician License is required.

Eligible licenses must be from a state with Iowa reciprocity, including:

AK, AR, CO, MN, MT, NE, NH, ND, OK, SD, TX, WI, and WY
