The Maintenance Coordinator for Retail Shopping Centers plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of retail properties by managing vendor relationships, tracking work orders, and overseeing preventive maintenance activities. This position works closely with the Property Management and Accounting teams and reports directly to the Property Manager and Ownership. It requires regular weekly site visits to various locations, utilizing systems like AppFolio to maintain accurate records and uphold high facility standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with vendors for maintenance and repair services
• Track and manage work orders to ensure timely completion
• Perform and schedule preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
• Conduct regular facility inspections to uphold safety and operational standards
• Collaborate with Property Management and Accounting teams for seamless operations
• Conduct weekly site visits to assess maintenance needs and progress
• Utilize AppFolio for maintenance tracking and documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in maintenance coordination
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of facility and preventive maintenance practices
• Experience with vendor management and work order management
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
