Key Responsibilities of the Travel RN Med Surg

• Deliver comprehensive medical and surgical nursing care to patients
• Promote a therapeutic environment ensuring patient safety
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed
• Perform general Med Surg procedures, including initiating IVs, NG tube insertion, Foley catheter insertion, dressing changes, and assisting with ADLs
• Provide clinical supervision to other staff within the department

Requirements of the Travel RN Med Surg

• Active TX RN License or Compact RN License
• BLS & ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Tele specialty experience
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience
