Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Occasional Early Start: Some study protocols require earlier procedures, but this is infrequent.

Type : Permanent

Salary: 60K-90K

Must Haves:

• 2-5 years clinical research experience 
• Prior leadership, supervisory, or management experience 
• Strong understanding of protocol deviations
• Experience with adverse event (AE) and serious adverse event (SAE) reporting
• Experience working directly with Principal Investigators and study teams

Plusses:

• RN
• GI, IBD, Digestive Health, or therapeutic research experience
• CCRC, CCRP, or other research certification

Overview

AdventHealth is seeking a Clinical Research Supervisor to support its growing Digestive Health research program, with a primary focus on GI and IBD studies. This individual will lead a team of Clinical Research Coordinators while partnering closely with Principal Investigators, physicians, and research leadership to ensure the successful execution of clinical trials.

In this role, you will provide day-to-day oversight and support for a team of three direct reports, serving as the first point of escalation for research staff and helping to coordinate study assignments, priorities, and workload across the team. You will play a key role in ensuring studies are conducted in accordance with protocol requirements, regulatory guidelines, and research best practices.

The Clinical Research Supervisor will also serve as a subject matter expert on protocol compliance, protocol deviations, adverse event reporting, and overall study operations. Working closely with investigators and clinical teams, you will help maintain research quality, support staff development, and contribute to the continued growth of AdventHealth's Digestive Health research program.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership and support to a team of Clinical Research Coordinators
• Serve as the primary point of contact between Principal Investigators, physicians, coordinators, and research staff
• Oversee study operations and ensure protocols are executed appropriately
• Assign and prioritize study-related responsibilities across the research team
• Support coordinators with study questions, escalations, and issue resolution
• Monitor study conduct to ensure compliance with sponsor, regulatory, and institutional requirements
• Review protocol deviations and ensure appropriate documentation and reporting
• Identify, document, and support reporting of adverse events and serious adverse events
• Partner closely with investigators and stakeholders to support study enrollment and execution
• Assist with process improvements, workflow optimization, and team development
• Serve as the first point of escalation for research operations issues
