Make a meaningful impact in educational settings by providing essential physical therapy services to students from Pre-K through 12th grade. This contract position offers flexible options: apply as a full-time candidate, or join as part of a small team of part-time professionals to collectively fulfill full-time hours. Work on site, supporting students across multiple schools and collaborating with a dynamic therapy team.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect physical therapy services to a diverse caseload of approximately 94 students, shared with another PT and PTA.
• Travel between 2–3 schools daily within the district, ensuring accessible support for students at various campuses.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ needs and educational goals.
• Communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and families to promote students’ educational participation and physical development.
• Document progress, comply with school/district procedures, and participate in IEP meetings as needed.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Current valid Florida Physical Therapist license.
• Experience in a school-based setting is strongly preferred, though not required.
• Comfort with itinerant service models and working with children and adolescents across a broad age range.
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt to various school environments and manage a dynamic schedule.
