Family Medicine Residency Program Director opening in NW Indiana near Chicago, IL

Seeking a BE/BC Program Director for our ACGME accredited Family Medicine Program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for medical education and training residents combined with a strong focus and commitment to ensuring patient care remains a priority. Approximately 50% administration and 50% clinical Must have 3+ years experience in academic medicine as Core Faculty or Program Director Oversee and ensure the quality of didactic and clinical education is maintained Establish strategic direction of the program, its standards, quality, and reputation of the Family Medicine Residency program as followed by faculty and residents Residency program practice management, overall residency operations, and resident oversight Program recruitment, interviews, and selection of residents; six residents are welcomed per year Recruit and oversee faculty and clinical rotations Maintain ongoing clinical activity in Family Medicine, consistent with ACGME guidelines Teach residents through clinical and didactic work Compensation & Benefits Generous base salary plus bonus incentives Relocation assistance and commencement bonus Medical education loan repayment assistance Residency stipend for qualifying candidates Full malpractice coverage Comprehensive health benefits package including 401(k) Excellent health benefits with 401K Paid CME time with annual allowance Personal time off (PTO) About the community We are located within 60 miles of Chicago, 10 miles from the Indiana Dunes State Park and National Lakeshore, and 20 miles from the resort communities of Michigan.
