Workday Senior Finance Manager

Senior Manager – Workday Finance Systems Remote / Hybrid | Full-Time | Base: $105K – $189K + Benefits We’re partnering with a large enterprise organization undergoing continued investment in its ERP and finance systems landscape. They are seeking a Senior Manager – Workday Finance Systems to lead strategic initiatives across their Workday Financial Management environment. This is a highly visible leadership role focused on optimizing and enhancing Workday capabilities across Finance and related operational domains. The position combines hands-on solution design with stakeholder leadership and team management responsibilities. What You’ll Be Doing Lead the design, configuration, and enhancement of complex Workday Finance solutions Partner closely with Finance, Operations, Payroll, Technology, and business stakeholders to improve processes and system functionality Drive operational improvements, automation initiatives, and scalable ERP solutions Oversee Workday enhancements, testing cycles, upgrades, support tickets, and release activities Translate business requirements into effective functional and technical solutions Manage and mentor a team responsible for ongoing Workday support and optimization Support governance, change management, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts Act as a key liaison between technical teams and business leadership What They’re Looking For 7+ years of Workday experience across configuration, sustainment, or implementation 10+ years of overall business systems or operational experience 3+ years of leadership or people management experience Strong background within Workday Finance modules and ERP operations Deep understanding of: FDM Cash & Banking Financial Accounting Budgets Customer Accounts Business Assets Grants Experience with integrations, EIBs, testing, and system optimization Strong accounting and finance process knowledge CPA and/or Workday certifications highly preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Next Ventures
