Job Description

Medical Front Desk Receptionist:

Tidewater Foot and Ankle Associates is looking for an experienced Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our team! Our office is located in Palm Harbor, FL. This is a full time position. Candidates should have excellent customer service skills to represent our practice. Experience in podiatry a plus. We value our staff members and strive to provide a positive work environment.

Job duties :

- Greet patients

- Check patients in/out

- Answer phones

- Schedule appointments

- Verify insurance benefits

- Collect co-payments and other payments

- Input patient information into the computer

- Maintain a clean and organized front office and waiting room

- Other administrative tasks as needed

- Ensure all required paperwork is completed by patients

- Adhere to HIPAA regulations

Qualification Requirements :

- Experience in a medical front office position

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Experience using an EHR (electronic health records), preferably eClinicalWorks
