Cardiac Catheterization Registered Nurse

Location: Chattanooga, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 4 x 10 (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)

Job Description: The Cardiac Catheterization Registered Nurse plays a critical role in the care of patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and structural procedures. Your expertise in circulating these cases, as well as your understanding of cath lab equipment and moderate sedation, is essential for ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Circulate cardiac catheterization procedures and assist with monitoring cases.
• Provide patient care with a focus on safety and comfort during procedures.
• Utilize standard Cath Lab equipment to assist the physician in performing procedures.
• Engage in a 3-person lab setup with a 4-person call team.
• Participate in call shifts as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• RCIS or CVRN certification preferred.
• Experience in scrubbing and assisting with cases is preferred.
