Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour; Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in specialty within the last 3 years. License: Required RN license Certifications: AHA BLS required, Epic experience required Must-Have: Tracheostomy and surgical experience required. Must have skill ranking of 3 or 4 in two out of the following four specialties: Gynecology, Urology, Plastics, and Colorectal. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse to elevate your nursing career. You will care for patients across four specialties: Gynecology, Urology, Plastics, and ENT. Every day presents a unique challenge, honing your skills and expanding your knowledge base. Be part of an innovative interdisciplinary team that supports and educates patients undergoing specialized procedures. You will be involved in providing patient and family education following various surgeries. Witness the impact of your care firsthand, playing a vital role in patient recovery and well-being. This unit provides excellent experience with airway management, including new tracheostomies. You may float to other medical/surgical units as needed. The patient population includes adults with specific diagnoses related to gynecology, urology, and plastic surgeries. In this role, you will frequently monitor patients and manage complex care needs. A telemetry test will be required prior to starting the position to ensure competency in monitoring rhythms. You will have two attempts to pass the telemetry exam, with a minimum passing score of 80%.
