Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 60 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <90 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - MaineHealth.

Unit Details: Adult, pediatric, and newborn patients in the birthing center. Equipment includes Fisher & Paykel Airvo 2 nasal oxygen high flow system, Respironics V60 ventilator, Drager Evita Infinity V500 ventilator, Getinge Servo-s ventilator, and Hamilton T1 ventilator.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend hours: 24 every other weekend. Work holidays as needed.

Floating Requirements: To Waldo County General Hospital as needed.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
