Data Ventures leads Walmart’s data transformation by delivering scalable B2B data solutions that provide merchants and suppliers with actionable insights. The team specializes in end-to-end software product development, emphasizing collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement. Members apply expertise in software development, AI integration, and platform design to build reliable, efficient systems aligned with business goals. Focused on innovation, accountability, and clear communication, the team promotes ongoing learning and knowledge sharing across cross-functional groups to support growth and technical advancement.
What you'll do:

• Own delivery of scoped features and components through collaborative engineering teams, ensuring alignment with platform and business objectives.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code across multiple languages, driving full software development lifecycle including CI/CD and automated testing.
• Integrate AI/ML components and leverage generative AI tools to enhance software capabilities and development efficiency.
• Participate in solution design, conduct code reviews, and apply best practices for scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and measurable outcomes.
• Monitor application performance, support defect management, and ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Mentor peers, promote continuous improvement, and contribute to engineering excellence and innovation.

What you'll bring:

• Proven expertise in object-oriented programming and documentation-based coding practices.
• Strong technical acumen with experience in code review, debugging, and continuous development.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver scoped features or models through iterative and incremental development.
• Experience integrating AI/ML components and leveraging generative AI tools to enhance software solutions.
• Proficiency in designing scalable, secure, and maintainable software aligned with platform standards.
• Skilled in full software development lifecycle including CI/CD, automated testing, and telemetry implementation.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
