Key Responsibilities

• Actively advocate for clients' mental health needs by collaborating with them to set achievable personal goals that align with their life aspirations.
• Conduct individual counseling sessions, both via secure video conferencing and face-to-face, aiming to support clients on their mental health journeys.
• Thoroughly evaluate clients' emotional and mental well-being, utilizing evidence-based practices to develop customized treatment plans that leverage your clinical expertise.
• Encourage open discussions about emotions, facilitating self-awareness and promoting personal growth during each session.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest therapeutic techniques and practices to ensure efficient and effective client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will consist primarily of stable adults with low acuity mental health issues. Each client undergoes a pre-screening process to ensure they are matched to therapies that best suit their needs. You will not be tasked with severe mental health cases, allowing you to focus on cultivating meaningful therapeutic relationships and achieving positive outcomes for your clients. Additionally, we will match you with clients based on your specialties and demographic preferences, ensuring a productive therapeutic alliance.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Possession of an active, independent license to practice (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) in California.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to create effective, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a compassionate demeanor that fosters trust and collaboration with clients.
• Proficiency in technology, including familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient settings and working with adults in varying stages of mental health journeys.
• Demonstrated capability in effective treatment plan formulation and implementation.
• A background in crisis intervention and conflict resolution strategies.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and hours worked.
