Join our specialty pediatric practice as a Medical Assistant, where you will primarily support clinical operations focused on pediatric patient care. This role emphasizes hands-on patient preparation and clinical assistance within a collaborative healthcare team environment, ensuring seamless patient experiences and high-quality care delivery.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pediatric patients for examinations and procedures
- Measure and record vital signs accurately
- Manage medical records with attention to confidentiality and accuracy
- Schedule appointments efficiently in support of clinical workflow
- Provide clinical assistance during patient examinations and treatments
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in medical assisting
- Certificate in Medical Assisting
- CPR Certification
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Strong patient communication skills
- Demonstrated expertise in vital signs monitoring and medical terminology
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team
- Spanish speaking preferred but not required
